Imagine Ronaldo gets injured and misses a few games.
Al-Nassr are just 2 points behind the league leaders, have qualified for the King’s Cup and are on a winning streak.
Then Ronaldo returns.
Suddenly, they’re 10 points behind, knocked out of the King’s Cup and on a five-game winless run.
Sounds ridiculous, right?
Now stop imagining.
That’s literally what Messi has done to Inter Miami.
Before Messi returned, Miami were just 2 points behind Nashville at the top of the Eastern Conference.
Now they’re 10 points behind.
Since his return, they’ve been knocked out of the Leagues Cup and gone five straight games without a win.
And the media?
Dead silent. 🤐
Let anything remotely negative happen around Cristiano, and these same so-called “credible” media outlets will run with it for days. They’ll dissect it, mock him, amplify it and turn it into a full-blown narrative.
When it happens around Messi?
Silence.
I honestly can’t believe I grew up thinking these outlets were credible.
I’m just realizing that much of what gets presented as “journalism” is actually paid PR and blatant bias dressed up as objectivity.
