Why would a woman be attracted to a murderer?

Few days ago, while scrolling on X, I saw a podcast video of an African man saying while he was he prison, women visited him, and he had children from some of this women. :-\

Today, lo and behold, I saw this post on X. :o

In 2019, Wade Wilson brutally murdered two women in Florida within just a few hours.

He strangled his first victim in her sleep, stole her car, and lured a second woman inside. After strangling her, he repeatedly ran her over to make sure she was dead.

Wilson was arrested the following day. Nearly five years later, a jury found him guilty of both murders.

That was when something strange happened.

Wilson developed a massive fan base of women who became obsessed with him. In a single month, he received thousands of messages and hundreds of photos while behind bars.

Some called themselves “Wade’s wives.” Others begged to have his babies. A few even bought him clothes to wear in court.

His supporters also flooded the court with letters, pleading with the judge to spare his life.

It did not work.

In August 2024, Wade Wilson was sentenced to death for both murders.

Now, my question is simple:

What on earth would make a woman attracted to a murderer?

I already have an idea of the answer but I am curious to read yours. ;)
