She described her mother as a beautiful woman and suggested that she could have married a wealthy man instead of making the choices she did. The lady also compared her own work ethic with the opportunities she believes she might have enjoyed if she had grown up in a more developed country.

Von Batten-Montague-York also alleged that there is growing concern across political lines over corruption within the Nigerian government under Tinubu. The firm further claimed that Tinubu appointed a serving minister responsible for the national budget despite an alleged previous connection to the embezzlement of funds from Nigeria’s treasury. However, it did not provide supporting documentation for the allegation in its latest post.

“The US cannot afford to allow President Tinubu to rig the upcoming Nigerian election,” the firm stated. It added that what it described as “lawlessness” in Nigeria could put the country on a path similar to Niger, Mali and Burkina Faso, while stressing that free and fair elections would be essential to protecting US interests in Nigeria and the broader region.

The latest statement comes amid the firm’s series of public claims concerning Nigeria’s 2027 electoral process.

Earlier this month, it alleged that Tinubu was using state institutions, including INEC, the judiciary and law enforcement agencies, against opposition parties and candidates, but it did not provide evidence in its post. However, Von Batten-Montague-York is a private lobbying and policy advisory firm and its statements should not be interpreted as official US government positions.

He said: “The National Policing Bill is more or less ready for transmission to the National Assembly.

We will probably have one more meeting after this to cross the t’s and dot the i’s and make sure every area is covered. So, we are 90% ready. “The governors have one or two observations, and we should be ready in about a week or so.”

Gbajabiamilla described the bill as ‘the most consequential Bill of the administration so far’. He said it has undergone strenuous exercises in the last few weeks since the working group’s steering committee began deliberations on August 3.

Verydarkman also questioned the brothers’ sources of income, asking when they last released music or performed at shows.

He challenged anyone who might attribute their wealth to their family’s financial standing to provide a more convincing explanation. He, however, did not provide evidence that the vehicles were purchased with public funds.
