Good afternoon house, I bought some 4-week-old broilers yesterday and I noticed some of them are pooping blood already. Can someone recommend what I can give them before things get out of hand? (Replies: most likely coccidiosis, a parasitic intestinal disease common in young chickens - separate visibly sick birds, contact a poultry vet urgently for diagnosis and an appropriate anticoccidial at the correct dose (don't guess), keep the litter dry since coccidia multiply in contaminated bedding, and avoid random antibiotics which don't treat parasites.
