Stop treating Claude like a chatbot where you simply copy and paste code. Set up a development workflow: You, Claude, Code, GitHub, Vercel, Live Website. 1) Start by discussing the project with Claude - what the product is, who the users are, the main features. 2) Plan the technical side - language, framework, database, authentication, APIs, hosting, folder structure. Don't let the AI randomly choose technologies.
3) Create a GitHub repository. 4) Use fine-grained access tokens restricted to the repo - never commit the token. 5) Connect GitHub to Vercel so pushes trigger deployments. 6) Build with Claude, test locally, commit and push. 7) Vercel deploys the new version. To redesign anything, just tell Claude and push again. You don't need to be an expert programmer, but understanding the basics of your stack makes you much better at directing Claude.
