Haaland Just Hit 300 Club Goals At 25 - Faster Than Messi, Ronaldo, And Mbappe

Haaland scored his 300th club goal today, a header off a Semenyo cross in City's 1-0 win over Coventry. He posted about it on Instagram - "300 club goals, grateful for every step." Breakdown of how he got there: 20 at Molde, 29 at Salzburg, 86 at Dortmund, 165 at City. 300 total in 368 club appearances. The number that actually blows my mind is the pace though. Messi needed 365 games to hit 300 club goals.

Mbappe needed 398. Ronaldo needed 499. Haaland got there faster than every one of them. He's also 25 - most of these guys were noticeably older when they hit the same number, or at minimum had more mileage. Worth noting he'd technically crossed 300 once before, back in June 2025, but that was club+country combined during the Club World Cup. This one is club goals specifically, which makes the milestone even more impressive given how recently the first one happened.

Kind of scary to think about what his final career numbers could look like if he stays healthy for another decade at this rate. https://athletestyles.com/erling-haaland-300-club-goals-milestone/
