I received an sms requesting me to click on a link to buy shares in Dangote Group of Companies. I clicked and was redirected to a website bearing information on the supposed investment. A unit of shares was said to be N525 and 10 units of shares are minimum purchase. I attempted purchasing as I assumed N5,250 for 10 units of shares was rather too small an amount to deprive myself of curiosity satisfaction; I clicked the SUBSCRIBE button but it read that purchases were not open yet and that the date for it will be communicated.
I also sent a whatsapp message to the number provided on the site. The receiver repeated the same information on the site. My question is, 'How true is this?' 'Is this another Ponzi or is it legit?' Please give your suggestions and opinions in the comment section.
