Dear Nairalanders and well-meaning Nigerians, I am writing this to cry out for assistance and to create a public record regarding a transaction with a well-known moniker on this platform, Bigkoko, who also runs Calm Travels. In June 2024, I contacted him based on a thread he posted here advertising services for a German Sponsorship Letter (Verpflichtungserklarung). After our discussions, I paid him the sum of EUR1,000 in July 2024 to execute the service.
Unfortunately, he failed to secure the sponsorship letter. After he confirmed he could not deliver, I requested a full refund. The Issue: Since March 2025, he has given me a continuous series of broken promises, shifting dates, and unfulfilled deadlines to return my money. At one point, he completely changed his WhatsApp number, leaving me unable to contact him for months until I managed to source his new number back on this platform.
To date, he is still holding onto my EUR1,000 and giving endless excuses. I have complete records of our WhatsApp conversations spanning from 2024 to present, bank proofs of payment, and all relevant transaction details. My Request: I am appealing to the Nairaland community, the moderators, and anyone who knows Bigkoko (Calm Travels) to prevail upon him to return my hard-earned money.
