COMRADES, I purchased a 300 by 150 piece of land in the outskirts of Jos (for near future use...gas/filling station, hotel, farm/poultry) at 6.5million only. Meanwhile, I bought a 100 by 50 in a satellite town of Port Harcourt for live-in purpose for 7.5million only. However, I noticed/discovered something strange in these transactions: in Jos, before everything was finalised, the village head must inspect the land before appending his signature, after that, the district head, after that, the local government chairman, then, finally the first class chief. But in Port Harcourt, there's nothing like that; my surveyor and the lawyer did the transaction directly with the seller and the native owner of the land, that's all.
First photo: the land in Port Harcourt, and once the rainy season is over I'll mobilise guys on site for my 4-bedroom flat
