HR Manager (Factory Operations). Location: Ibadan, Oyo State. Employment Type: Full-Time. About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to lead and manage all human resources functions within our manufacturing operations in Ibadan. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working in a factory or manufacturing environment and possess a thorough understanding of labor laws, employee relations, workforce planning, performance management, and HR best practices.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives; Manage recruitment, onboarding, and retention for factory and administrative staff; Oversee employee relations and handle disciplinary and grievance procedures; Ensure compliance with labor laws, health and safety regulations; Manage performance appraisals and employee development; Coordinate training and capacity-building programs; Maintain accurate HR records and prepare HR reports; Drive employee engagement and welfare; Support compensation and benefits administration; Partner with department heads on workforce needs and succession planning; Manage attendance, leave administration, workforce scheduling.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or related field; professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or equivalent) an added advantage; minimum 5-8 years' HR experience with at least 3 years in a manufacturing/factory environment; strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and industrial relations; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR management systems.
