Nollywood couple Toyin Abraham and Kolawole Ajeyemi have debunked divorce rumours with their latest outing at her concert. Kemi Filani reported that on Saturday, she held her praise and worship concert tagged ‘Bestie Jesu Concert 2026’ at the Red Carpet Hall, Maroko, Lekki, Lagos. Shutting down speculations of a marital crisis, Kolawole showed support for his wife by attending the event.
A video captured him walking up to the stage where his wife was. Toyin, surprised to see him, knelt to greet him, and he picked her up. The lovebirds hugged, embraced and kissed. Reacting to the report, Abraham responded with a spiritual declaration. She made it known that they aren’t going through any marital issues. Toyin declared that divorce isn’t their destiny as she covered their marriage with prayers. Back in 2023, her colleague, Wumi Toriola had reacted to reports that she had an affair with Kolawole. Wumi shut down the report as she questioned why people are fixated on tarnishing people’s image and causing continuous rancour.
In 2022, it was speculated that Toyin and Kolawole were having an in-house crisis, arising from Toyin’s attitude towards certain issues that revolve around their family. Toyin’s husband had complained about her attitude, her refusal to follow him to church, and her skipping to sleep at home. The couple, however, debunked the reports and had proven that their union was still waxing stronger.
Just in September, Kolawole wrote a beautiful message to Toyin, describing her as his bestie in the whole world and wished her happiness, good health, and all the love in the world. To celebrate her birthday, he gifted her new G-Wagon. Earlier this year, the lovebirds had blessed the internet with lovely photos, as they attended a family wedding. While Kolawole described Toyin as a part of him in his caption, Toyin captioned her photos with Mr and Mrs Ajeyemi.
During Toyin’s reignited fued with Funke Akindele, Kolawole Ajeyemi appreciated her for constantly listening to him. He noted that Toyin wants to talk but was keeping silent because of him. On International Women’s Day, Kolawole gushed over Abraham, describing her as his beautiful and strong wife. When Toyin grossed N1 billion at the Box Office, Kolawole thanked God and the public for their support of his wife.
A Tiktok user had queried Toyin over her marital status. Responding to him, Toyin urged the fan to come to her house to feed his curiosity. In an interview with Media Room Hub, Toyin vowed never to leave her husband, as she can’t imagine herself and her husband not living together. However, she finds comfort in knowing that her marriage is ordained by God and as such, doesn’t need to fear anymore.
Toyin had later issued a stern warning to Nigerian women to stay away from her husband. For anyone hoping to be her junior wife, she read the riot act to them.
