APM And Gov Seyi Makinde Sue Gov Otti Over Alleged ₦200 Million Campaign Fee

The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) and its presidential candidate, Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, have filed a lawsuit against Abia State Governor Alex Otti over what they describe as the unlawful imposition of a mandatory ₦200 million campaign fee. According to the party, the fee was allegedly demanded as a prerequisite for conducting campaign activities within Abia State. APM argues that the charge has no legal basis and constitutes an obstruction to political participation.
