From what she said there have been communication gap because her husband to be didn't inform her about the cancellation before posting it on social media and some other stuff.
And from what she says it's not because of material things, the guy isn't carrying her along on some major issues like announcing the cancellation on social media.
And she lost her dad at first but they still went ahead with probably the traditional wedding or introduction.
The first time they fixed the wedding the uncle was around but after the guy lost his dad they had to cancel it.
And the uncle is like a father figure since she lost her dad.
So I won't say she's materialistic, I would say it's a matter of miscommunication and possibly it's something spiritual more than we can understand.
Some would say it's a sign that they both should not be together, others would say their coming together is destined and they would be great that's why forces of evil are trying to stop them. In all, I wish them well.

They fixed another date 19 September, but when they informed her uncle he asked that they postpone it to December.
She informed her husband to be about it but he was furious , not taking any postponement of wedding.
And cancelled it without informing her.
