Kaduna: Troops Neutralise Suspected Terrorist, Hunt Fleeing Accomplices

According to security analyst Zagazola Makama, troops deployed to Ungwan Nungu moved to the location after receiving the intelligence and engaged the suspects in a gun battle.

During the encounter, one of the suspected terrorists, identified as Bashir Mohammed, was neutralised.

Other members of the group reportedly fled the area with possible gunshot wounds sustained during the exchange of fire.

Troops have since commenced efforts to track and apprehend the fleeing suspects as operations continue across the area to prevent the group from regrouping and launching further attacks on surrounding communities.

The operation forms part of ongoing efforts by security forces to disrupt terrorist activities and enhance the safety of communities in the Sanga axis.
