Super Eagles fans, Victor Osimhen will miss Nigeria's opening 2027 AFCON qualifiers against Madagascar and Guinea-Bissau because of injury.
The Nigeria Football Federation has called up Taiwo Awoniyi as his replacement, bringing the Coventry City striker back into the national team after his last appearance in 2024.
Nigeria will face Madagascar in Uyo on September 25 before travelling to meet Guinea-Bissau on September 29.
Now, this is where the football conversation begins. Osimhen is unavailable, Awoniyi is back, and Eric Chelle must decide how to arrange his attack for the two matches.
Super Eagles fans, which attacking combination would you like to see against Madagascar? Should Awoniyi start immediately, or should Chelle use another available striker while introducing him later?
