Love Is Hard To Define When People Are Hungry

Now put that same relationship in a society where people are struggling to survive.

Suddenly, “If he really loves me, he will take care of me” starts sounding very reasonable.

A man buys food, pays rent, sends transport money, handles emergencies and solves problems. Those things can easily become evidence of love because they are meeting very real needs.

So when someone says, “A man who loves me will do everything for me,” we should sometimes look beyond the relationship and look at the economy surrounding it.

For someone who is hungry, financial provision does not feel like a luxury. It feels like love because it is solving a problem.

This does not mean every woman is materialistic, and it does not mean men should be financially exploited. It simply means poverty changes the way people experience relationships.

When everybody has eaten, you can argue about romance.

When people are hungry, love and survival can start speaking the same language.

Women are attracted to goid looking men exactly the way men are attracted to beautiful women. The caveat however is that the world is tough and at a point they have to chose a man with money to cater for their needs and that of their future children. Reason why many men will never experience true love what's you are no longer able to provide for whatever reason that lady dissappears.
