She said she told him she was not going to his house that night.

Sharing her experience, she said: “I once went on a dinner date with a guy, and after the date, he started driving me to his house instead of taking me home. I told him I wasn’t going to his house that night, so he pulled over and told me to order an Uber because he wouldn’t be able to drive me home.

He had spent over ₦180k on the date, and maybe that made him think I would automatically follow him home.

My Uber hadn’t even arrived before he drove off.” She suggested that the amount he spent may have influenced his expectations, but maintained that paying for the date did not mean she had to follow him home.
