> Chief Security Officer(CSO) at YellowDoor Hotels Location: Abuja, Nigeria Work Arrangement: On-site, 24-hour operation with on-call availability for emergencies outside core hours Compensation: ₦250,000 – ₦400,000 Job Overview YellowDoor Hotels is a boutique hotel group in Abuja operating 24 hours a day across premium apartments and a flagship restaurant. This is the senior security leadership seat: you own the strategy, the team, and the systems that keep guests, staff, and assets safe around the clock.

If you have built security operations from the ground up and led people through real emergencies, this role was written for you. Responsibilities Oversee all three shifts and maintain 24/7 security coverage across the property Lead incident investigations and produce accurate, confidential written reports Manage CCTV, access control, fire, and alarm systems to ensure full operational coverage Enforce loss-prevention controls across cash points, bar, kitchen, and storerooms Build, roster, train, and appraise an in-house security team across all shifts Serve as on-site incident commander during emergencies until handover to external services Requirements 8-10 years of experience Security Operations & Risk Management Incident Investigation & Report Writing 24/7 Shift Oversight & Rostering CCTV & Access Control Management Loss Prevention & Asset Protection Emergency Response Planning & Drills Team Leadership & People Management Staff and Guest Safety in Hospitality Leadership & Team Management Incident & Emergency Response Planning Access Control, CCTV & Security Systems Investigation & Report Writing Hospitality Security & Guest Safety Protocols Knowledge of Security Policies, Procedures & Compliance Preferred Qualifications Budget Management for Security Department Security Vendor & Contract Management Cross-department Security Training Delivery Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or PSP Certification Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) Fire Safety or First Aid / CPR Certification What the Role Offers Strong performance in this role positions the CSO for a broader Head of Administration & Operations remit as YellowDoor grows its footprint across Nigeria.
