We live in a world that is constantly making noise.
Notifications. Music. Arguments. Opinions. Messages. Everybody trying to be heard.
But I’ve been thinking about something:
What if some of the things we need to hear most can only be heard when everything becomes quiet?
Think about music.
Sometimes a producer removes the beat for just a moment before it drops again. That tiny silence can make the next sound feel much more powerful.
Life can be like that too.
The quiet moment before making a difficult decision.
The silence after losing someone.
The moment you finally sit alone with your thoughts.
The pause where you realize something about yourself that all the noise had been hiding.
Maybe silence isn’t the absence of something.
Maybe silence is where we finally hear what matters.
I wrote a short reflection on this:

What has silence ever made you realize that noise couldn’t?
