Linda clinched the Best Lead Actress award for her powerful performance as Ijeoma in The Serpent’s Gift.
Also, she won the Best Supporting Actress for her role as Adama in The Herd, the directorial debut of Daniel Etim-Effiong. Following her win, Linda shared a video of her bossing her actor husband, Ibrahim Suleiman, around with her AMVCA plaque. In her caption, she said one of the perks of being a winner was getting cooked for on demand. While celebrating his wife’s birthday in July, Ibrahim expressed pride in her, saying she stepped back in her career to raise their son. He said God put his wife on earth because he would need her so much.
