Man Dies After Jumping Off Bus Driven By Drunken Driver

A passenger has died after jumping from a moving commercial bus that later crashed into a median pole at Ogunlana Junction, Surulere, Lagos. The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) confirmed that the accident involved a Volkswagen bus . Preliminary findings revealed that the driver was allegedly drunk and driving recklessly, forcing other motorists to avoid him to prevent a collision.

During the chaotic ride, a male passenger reportedly jumped from the moving bus in an attempt to escape. He sustained severe injuries and later died. Authorities say investigations are ongoing, and the driver will face appropriate charges.
