Nollywood actress Eniola Ajao has cried out following reports of people bringing down her page. In a video shared online, the movie star revealed that her YouTube page has been shadow-banned. Crying out, Eniola said people have been using ploys to report her page. Calling on Nigerians for help, Ajao said she is running into debt as she questioned what she has done to such people.
She said they accused her of trying to pit two people against each other. The popular actress said the statement isn’t true, as she is a peaceful person and doesn’t want trouble. “Nigerians, please help me; I am running into debt now. I don’t know what I have done to some people on social media; they said I have offended them and claimed I am supporting one person against another, which is never true.
Please, I want you all to forgive me if I have offended you in any way. I am a peaceful person, and I don’t want trouble. Please, stop reporting my page anymore, and all my fans run to my YouTube channels to watch my new movie”. Eniola Ajao broke down in tears that some set of people are reporting her movie, she said she has never done anything wrong for her to deserve this 💔 pic.twitter.com/jjnOac5ulH — last born (@olasebotifeg) September 28, 2026 The film critic, Tolu Fagbure, said in an interview that the actress and Itele had no business in the cinema.
In what seemed like a reaction to his statement, Eniola prayed that when others were succeeding and achieving great things in life, one should not waste his/hér time gossiping and neglecting one’s own purpose. She made it clear that she is too guided to be distracted and to let her results do the talking. Last year, Eniola expressed excitement at bagging an AMVCA nomination. She stated that the nomination was a big deal to her and expressed how happy she was that her work was receiving recognition. 2024 was a rough year for the movie star, who debuted her first Cinema movie, which was marked with controversy.
The movie star earned tons of backlash after she declared Bobrisky, a Nigerian crossdresser, the Best Dressed Female at her movie premiere. In an interview with Arise News TV, Eniola admitted that it was a deliberate action to pick Bobrisky as the winner as it was all a publicity stunt and marketing strategy to promote her movie. She noted how the crossdresser is a controversial person, hence her decision to award him the Best Dressed Female to generate more buzz for her project.
Undoing her wrongs, Ajao had awarded two attendees, Bose Alao and another as Best Dressed Female and had gifted the two women a million naira each.
