Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo used to be a pastor and revealed that he started casting out demons as a teenager. Okpebholo made the disclosure while speaking at a Church as a guest in Benin City. In the viral video online, he said, “When I see young ones standing in the presence of God, I remember at the age of 17/18, I have also started casting out demons. So fighting insecurity, most especially cultism, is not a new thing to me.
It’s something that has been happening.'' According to him, his early spiritual experience helped his administration fight against insecurity and cultism in Edo State because confronting evil is not new to him. He also recalled the influence of the late Archbishop Benson Idahosa, founder of Church of God Mission International, on his Christian journey.
