So draw the line between gift and duty so that you will not be blamed while being bled.

Note

This is an advise to Lagos state and other port states in Nigeria to insist on being paid a commission from FG earnings from the ports in their territory. Such earnings are an important part of government revenue in many nations just like oil and gas is for the Niger delta state governments in Nigeria.

Osa Otura

Lies can become truth if repeated relentlessly.

If a lie is not vehemently attacked at the nursery stage, it can become like an iroko tree.

It was because it had a breathing space at the initial stage that the lie that a virgin gave birth to a son became a truth accepted by billions of people on Earth.

So when ten people say they outnumber ten thousand people or your tenant says they are your landlord, take them seriously and reject the claim with the truth you have when you still can.

Note

The most outrageous claims do become reality overtime if not strongly debunked.
