Mr. Praise Atsua is a young and dynamic public servant, entrepreneur, and community-focused leader currently serving as the Executive Officer to the Local Government Chairman of Obudu, Cross River State, Hon. Peter Undiandeye Since he resumed office as the local goverment chairman.
Born on April 18, 2001, Praise grew up as an only child in a Christian and benevolent family. He is the son of Hon. Francis Atsua, a reputable politician in Cross River State, and Mrs. Odey Veronica Atsua. His upbringing instilled in him strong values of service, responsibility, simplicity, and leadership. His mother's guiding principle, “Simplicity Is The Best,” remains one of the values that continues to influence his approach to life and public service.
In his capacity as Executive Officer to the Local Government Chairman of Obudu, Praise Atsua contributes to the administration and strategic activities of the local government, bringing together his understanding of communication, community development, administration, and the needs of the people. His role places him within the workings of local government leadership, where effective coordination, communication, responsibility, and a clear understanding of community priorities are essential.
His academic background has further equipped him for this responsibility. Praise studied English Language at a Federal College and holds a degree in Sociology from the University of Calabar. His background in Sociology provides him with an understanding of society, human relationships, community structures, and the factors that influence development, while his foundation in English Language strengthens his ability to communicate effectively.
Beyond public service, Praise Atsua is also an entrepreneur and is widely known in the media space by the name Lemon69. He gained public recognition after winning the Nairaland Trend Up Award for Most Trending Person in Their Space (Nairaland Most Popular), 2022/2023.
He is also the Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Lemon Real Estate Company Nigeria Limited, where he applies his entrepreneurial vision to the real estate sector. His business philosophy is built around simplicity, transparency, integrity, and creating a better experience for clients.
