President Bola Tinubu returned to Nigeria on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, after spending about four weeks in Europe on a working vacation. He was received at the presidential wing of Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, at 6:22 pm, by top government officials including Lagos state Governor Babajide Sanwo Olu and Chief of staff Femi Gbajabiamila.
