Nollywood actress Judy Austin was reportedly taunted by a crowd during her court appearance in Abuja on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, where she faced her in-law, actress Rita Edochie. Judy had previously filed a writ of summons against Rita, seeking damages of ₦1 billion, a retraction and public apology, ₦50 million in additional relief, 10 per cent post-judgment interest, among other demands.
