Carpenter Writes “Peter Obi” On Planks, Says “We Are Following Obi” (Photos)

A Nigerian carpenter named Toheeb was spotted marking and carrying his wooden planks with “Peter Obi” written boldly on them. In the video, the man, speaking in Yoruba, could be heard saying they should write Peter Obi on the planks, saying, “It is Peter Obi we are following,” and disclosing that they are hungry.

Toheeb also insisted that Peter Obi’s name be added to the name written on the plank, even asking to confirm whether “Toheeb Peter Obi” had been written on them.

The short clip, paired with a photo of the former Anambra governor, quickly went viral as fans celebrated how deeply Obi’s name has sunk into everyday life.
