“Nigeria has a calling to be developers, not prayer warriors” — Odumeje

Which kind of calling is that? Are we prayer warriors?” he said. According to him, Nigerians, particularly young people, should be encouraged to develop the country rather than being made to depend solely on religious leaders. “We have a calling to be developers. Bad government is what has caused all these churches across the country.

They want to deceive the youths so that everyone will turn to pastors,” he said.

Odumeje also called on Nigerian youths to become more involved in the affairs of the country. “Nigerian youths, let’s come out, fight for ourselves and take back our government,” he added. His comments come amid the drama between Verydarkman and the clergyman Apostle Arome.
