Peter Obi Visits NAF Facility, Signs Condolence Register For Igbokoda Crash Victims

Former Anambra State Governor and Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has visited the Nigerian Air Force facility in Abuja to sign the condolence register following the recent aircraft crash that claimed the lives of military personnel. Obi said the visit provided an opportunity to reflect on the sacrifices made daily by members of the Armed Forces and other security agencies in the line of duty.

He described the deceased personnel as courageous Nigerians who put their lives on the line to defend the country and protect its citizens. “We must never take their service and sacrifice for granted,” Obi said. He extended his condolences to the Nigerian Air Force, as well as the families, colleagues and loved ones of those who lost their lives in the crash. “May God grant eternal rest to the departed and give their families the strength and fortitude to bear this painful loss,” he said. Obi also prayed for the continued protection of all personnel serving the country.
