Traditional rulers in Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency have called for strong representation at the National Assembly, saying that prompted their support for the re-election of the member representing the constituency at the National Assembly, Obi Aguocha of the Labour Party for the 2027 general elections. The traditional ruler of Umudiawa Autonomous Community, Ohuhu, Umuahia North local government area, His Eminence, Nnamdi Ofoegbu stated this while speaking to newsmen at his place yesterday.
He said, “He has been defending the cause of Ndigbo, especially the constituency. He cannot see you crying and abandon you; he has a listening ear, this is why we want him re-elected.” He lauded the Abia State governor, Alex Otti, for his ongoing transformation agenda, saying Otti was living up to his expectation in 2022 when he conferred the chieftaincy title of Iheoma on him.
The monarch described the All Progressives Grand Alliance candidate for Umuahia North constituency in the State House of Assembly, Ugochukwu Ikpo, as good, refined and reliable.
