Desola Afod sends love and light amid clash with Nollywood actresses

Nollywood actor Kunle Afod’s estranged wife, Desola Afod, has written a message to her lovers amidst her clash with Nollywood stars. In a late-night post, she thanked the genuine people who truly love and support her. She said she values them and would never take them for granted. Desola prayed for God’s blessings for them, making it known that it is always love and light. “To the genuine people who truly love, appreciate, and support me.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I see you, I value you, and I never take your love for granted. May God bless you all abundantly and keep us all safe, healthy, and protected. Love and light always. Kemi Filani reported that Desola, in a video she shared online, had called out actors and actresses for constantly disrespecting her. She noted that she is older than most of them and, as such, shouldn’t be addressed by her first name.

In response, Bimbo told her to shut up, saying people in the industry were only staying quiet out of respect for her husband. She said they’re giving Desola the same respect they give to Afod, who gave her the fame she enjoys today. Not done, Bimbo claimed the shading video was mostly aimed at her, as she admonished the mother of three not to come for her and warned that she would fight back.

Joining Bimbo Success, Wumi Toriola called out Desola, telling her to name those who disrespected her rather than disrespecting the industry. She urged her to start bearing her father’s name if her ex’s name was giving her problems. Other Nollywood actors, including Arike Akinyanju, Nkechi Blessing, Yetunde Bakare, Seyi Edun, Yetunde Barnabas, and Tosin Olaniyan, took to Wumi Toriola’s comment section to support her point.

It is no longer news that Kunle Afod and Desola have parted ways. The couple’s separation and the cause of the breakup remain unknown to the public, as they’re keeping quiet about it, likely out of respect for their kids. Back in June, Desola responded to those calling her clingy and proud. She said she was open to learning and understanding, and urged the public to tell her how to act and relate to her, because whatever she did was being misunderstood.

The celebrity wife spoke out against living a fake lifestyle for the media. She lamented over the alarm of faking for the Internet, and admonished the public to stop faking just for the camera and media. She had also lashed out at a troll who mocked her for clout-chasing her husband, Kunle Afod, to a white party in Ibadan. She slammed him and others for attacking her and vowed to expose their favourite with proof and evidence.

In another post, Desola said she wasn’t seeking validation or pity, as her offline life is better than people’s assumptions. The businesswoman made it clear that she wasn’t seeking eye service like many celebrities do. She had finally accepted the titles given to her, saying that she was local, razz, and Olosho. Desola revealed that the business is lucrative, as she uses it to support herself and her children.
