Nollywood actress and former beauty queen Ronke Tiamiyu has revealed the gender of her unborn child. Kemi Filani reported that in celebration of her 37th birthday, the former beauty queen announced that she is expecting her second child. She shared maternity photos of herself and expressed gratitude for life, grace, growth, and God’s faithfulness, saying she had learned to appreciate life more deeply.
In a follow-up post, she shared photos with her son, saying he is happy to be promoted to a big Brother. She let the cat out of the bag, revealing that she is expecting a baby girl and has one more beautiful blessing to celebrate. “On my birthday, I have one more beautiful blessing to celebrate. My little prince is officially getting promoted to Big Brother, and guess what? He’s getting a little sister”.
In 2024, Ronke announced that she was expecting her first child, a baby boy. Sharing maternity photos, she said her new chapter was called motherboard, and she could barely wait to experience it. Years ago, before the birth of her son, the model lamented that, at 32, she thought she would be in a Banana Island mansion. She said life had humbled her, that she felt so old, and that she was on the street.
The former beauty queen had kicked against undergoing cosmetic surgery and facial treatments. She confessed that she also harboured thoughts of plastic surgery, but she changed her mindset. Ronke Tiamiyu, also an ex-beauty queen, hit stardom after clinching the Miss Charismatic crown at the 2013 Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN).
