Senior Accountant at Ludo Naira

> Key Responsibilities Financial Reconciliation and Transaction Management Perform daily and monthly reconciliations across the company's internal transaction records, payment gateway reports and bank statements. Reconcile customer deposits, withdrawals, game transactions, winnings, platform commissions and settlement balances. Investigate discrepancies, missing transactions, failed or reversed payments, duplicate entries and settlement differences.

Reconcile payment gateway charges and other transaction fees to ensure that amounts received agree with expected settlements. Maintain accurate records of outstanding settlements, customer wallet balances and other relevant financial liabilities. Accounting Software Setup: Recommend and implement suitable accounting software, establish the chart of accounts, and develop reliable bookkeeping processes and financial controls.

Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements and cash flow reports, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and reporting. Tax Compliance: Calculate, file and remit applicable taxes, including VAT, WHT and company income tax, and maintain supporting documentation. Internal Controls and Audit: Maintain accurate financial records, strengthen accounting procedures, and support audits and regulatory requirements.

Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline. ICAN, ACCA or an equivalent professional qualification is an advantage. 5–10 years of relevant accounting experience, with practical knowledge of financial reconciliation, accounting software setup and tax compliance. Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills and the ability to investigate and resolve financial discrepancies independently.

Experience in online gaming, fintech, payment processing or another transaction-intensive business is a major advantage.
