I have searched online and found 4 methods to stop it:

1. USSD code *123*0*1# or *312*200#
2. MyMTN App > Data > Manage Subscription > Toggle OFF
3. Send STOP to 131 via SMS
4. Call 180 to disable

I tried method 2 and it worked. It even showed me 3 other subscriptions eating my airtime silently.

For anyone facing same issue, I documented all 4 steps with screenshots here (for clarity):

I will drop the link in comment below to avoid ban.

Has anyone else experienced this? How did you stop yours?

4. Maybe humans should stop acquiring any knowledge or skill and leave it to the machines The issue is that most people have not really sat down to see that this ideology is what AI people are about.

The programmers who resigned from anthropic recently perhaps just somewhat noticed these things ina awy, got confused and just left. Also other employees who noticed in the this left.

They want to use machines to control our mind and turn us to zombies. It's also crude capitalism mixed with the arms race. This is horrible

What approach do you use: poll one endpoint with all live matches, poll individual matches after detecting they're live, WebSockets if the provider supports them, cache match data locally and update only changed fields, different intervals for pre-game/live/finished?

How do you balance low latency with reasonable API usage on the backend of a production sports application? (Top reply: think in states - one global call every 10s, only update what changed, state drives poll speed, publish once to Redis and fan out via WebSocket: 21,000 calls/hour becomes ~200.)
