4G phones can still be perfectly suitable for browsing, social media, streaming, online classes and everyday use, especially if 5G coverage isn't strong in your area.

There are also other things to consider besides network speed — battery consumption, phone price, processor, software support, network compatibility and how long you plan to keep the device.

So if you're buying a phone in Nigeria in 2026, should you spend more for 5G or save money with a good 4G device?

I put together a comparison covering the major differences and what buyers should consider before choosing.

Deep Learning is a subset of Machine Learning that uses multi-layered neural networks to learn complex patterns. It is widely used in image recognition, speech processing and modern AI applications.

For example, an email spam filter can use machine learning to identify unwanted messages, while deep learning can help power speech recognition and advanced image analysis.

Understanding these differences can help beginners decide what to learn first when starting a career in technology or AI.

I would like to hear from people already working in tech:

1. Which of these technologies do you use in your daily work?
2. Can a beginner learn AI without having a strong background in mathematics or programming?

1. For someone starting today, would you recommend learning Python and basic machine learning first, or exploring AI tools before going deeper into the technical concepts?

Let's share some practical advice for beginners.

How will MTN say they don't have network?

What is the meaning of that?

And they are busy dilly dallying wasting people's time over there?i

I decided to get EE, a UK SIM and the operator discovered that the phone is locked either to network or country. I sensed that it could be locked to country.

I'm still in UK and the phone is only working on WiFi.

What could be the issue so I can address it when I return to Nigeria, please?
