RE: Do Shared Hobbies Really Matter When Choosing A Partner?
While browsing profiles on Dilmil (dilmil.co), I'd therefore look for shared interests without treating them as a strict requirement. A couple can have completely different hobbies and still be very compatible if their values and communication styles are similar. I think everyday habits and expectations can actually matter more in the long run.
How people handle disagreements, how they communicate when something is bothering them and how they support each other's plans can say much more about compatibility than whether they both like the same music.
Shared hobbies are a nice bonus because they create opportunities to spend time together, but they shouldn't be the only thing determining whether someone is worth getting to know.
