Speaking about her health condition and the challenges she has faced during treatment, Ogundimu said the treatment had also caused painful side effects: 'I have been battling cervical cancer since 2024. The treatment I received also has side effects, such as my buttock hurting me when I go to urinate.' Overcome with emotion, the actress said she only wants to recover and live a peaceful life: 'I just want to be okay.
I am exhausted. I want a peaceful life.' Ogundimu, who revealed that she is struggling to raise funds for further treatment, pleaded with Nigerians: 'I plead with Nigerians to have mercy on me. I still need to be treated. I don't know who to call or where to get money from again. Please, just help me.'
