“Your behaviour is a disgrace to what a responsible man should represent” – Actor Yomi Gold calls out Banks Omishore for disrupting his event in Jersey

Nollywood actor Yomi Gold has called out Special Assistant on New media to the Senate President, Bamikole ‘Banks’ Omisore, for disrupting his event. In a video he shared online, he said the special adviser came to his event in Jersey to hand out flyers saying he was wanted. According to him, Banks disrupted his event despite being in a country with the rule of law. “I just have to put it out there, I don’t know what is going on anymore, and this is getting out of hand.

I came for a show in Jersey, and Banks Omisore came here and almost disrupted everything we were trying to do. I have never seen this happen before, especially in a country that has the rule of law”, he said. In his caption, Yomi described Banks behaviour as a disgrace to what a responsible man should represent. He noted how the special adviser presents himself to the public in a performative way.

“Banks, your behaviour is a disgrace to what a responsible man should represent. You present yourself one way in public, yet your actions toward others tell a completely different story. I don’t think you fully understand where you are in life. Not everyone can be reduced to nothing simply because they refuse to let you have things your way. Some people genuinely carry their own light, while others constantly have to fight to be seen.

Do not blame me for the consequences of your own behaviour. A grown man with a family should know how to conduct himself with dignity, respect, and accountability. Whatever disagreement exists between us, there are proper ways to handle it. Disrespect, intimidation, and public performance are not substitutes for maturity. I will continue to stand on the truth and allow the facts to speak for themselves”.

A few days ago, Yomi broke down over his business loss, saying early business losses can’t hold him down. He said every setback had taught him valuable lessons, and those lessons were worth more than what was lost. Last year, the Yoruba actor trended after a video of him at a livestock farm in the United States surfaced online. The viral clip showed the film star advertising goats for sale, leaving many Nigerians surprised.

It was believed that the actor had left acting to become a goat seller. In other news, Yomi was grateful after being cleared of a paternity scandal with Lagos’s big boy, Mosh. Though, Gold had debunked the rumors many didn’t believe him as they dragged him for having an affair with a married woman, until Mosh debunked the rumors. Reacting to it, he shared a video of him rejoicing at the good news, as he expressed how happy he was that his heart could finally touch the ground.
