Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and professional Chef to provide exceptional culinary services within a private or executive household. The ideal candidate should have excellent knowledge of local and international cuisine, strong attention to detail, and the ability to deliver nutritious, beautifully presented meals tailored to individual preferences and dietary requirements.
Key Responsibilities Plan and prepare daily meals, snacks, and refreshments to a consistently high standard. Create varied, nutritious, and well-balanced menus based on the family's preferences and lifestyle. Prepare a range of local and international cuisines. Cater to allergies, dietary restrictions, special diets, and individual food preferences. Source fresh, premium-quality ingredients and manage food purchasing efficiently.
Maintain accurate food inventory and ensure appropriate storage and stock rotation. Ensure excellent food presentation, taste, quality, and portion control. Maintain impeccable cleanliness, hygiene, and organization throughout the kitchen. Comply with food safety, sanitation, and health standards. Properly clean, maintain, and safely operate kitchen equipment and appliances. Prepare meals for family members, guests, private dinners, celebrations, and special events.
Coordinate meal preparation and service with household staff and other service personnel. Maintain complete confidentiality and discretion regarding the employer and household. Plan menus for entertaining, special occasions, holidays, and family travel when required. Minimize food waste while maintaining high standards of quality. Keep up to date with modern culinary techniques, nutrition, presentation, and international food trends.
Requirements & Qualifications Proven professional experience as a Chef. Culinary training or a recognized culinary qualification is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of food preparation, nutrition, hygiene, and food safety. Excellent knowledge of both local and international cuisine. Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and manage all aspects of a private kitchen.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Exceptional attention to detail and presentation. Professional appearance, conduct, and personal hygiene. Trustworthy, discreet, punctual, and dependable. Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure. Verifiable employment history and strong professional references. Preferred Experience Previous experience in a private household, luxury residence, executive environment, hotel, or fine-dining establishment.
Experience preparing healthy, organic, vegetarian, vegan, and specialized diets. Experience preparing meals for children and families. Experience catering for formal dinners, private events, and entertaining. Knowledge of multiple international cuisines. Flexibility and willingness to travel with the family when required.
