Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has reacted after her ex-boyfriend, Xxssive, pitched tent with BBNaija star Phyna, ahead of their boxing fight. Kemi Filani reported that Nkechi and Phyna, who have been at loggerheads for days, would be settling their issue in the ring at a celebrity boxing match on October 1st. Ahead of the match, Xxssive, via his social media page, messaged Phyna, telling her not to lose the fight.
“Team @unusualphyna, make sure you don’t lose that fight”. Surprisingly, Nkechi left a walking emoji on his post. Recall that back in March, 2025, the movie star, revealed that she and her boyfriend, Xxssive broke up, as she made it known that there wasn’t any bad blood between them. Nkechi started dating Eseoghene Obire popularly known as Xxssive, in 2021 after her failed relationship with Ekiti State politician, Opeyemi Falegan.
In an episode of her podcast, the movie star said she has never dated anyone who was more financially stable than she is, and has always taken care of herself. NBS, as she is fondly known, said she has dated down three times, and she wasn’t doing it again. After their breakup, Nkechi vowed to keep her next relationship off social media. Following his breakup with the popular actress, the Delta star flaunted a new woman on his Instagram page.
He shared a loved-up video of himself and his new woman. Many stormed his comment section, slamming him for having a new woman less than a year after his breakup with Nkechi. One Instagram user even suggested he was cheating on Nkechi, which he clarified, as he stated that he has never cheated in his relationship. Celebrating his girlfriend’s birthday, Xxssive described her as his private chef and the one who balances his diet.
He said how much he loves her, praising her for her kindness and affirming his love for her.
