It is the birthday of Ivy Ifeoma Okoye, the wife of music star Paul Okoye. The mother of one, who turns 26, shared sultry photos of herself in a little black dress, with the caption, Twenty Sexy. Wishing herself a happy birthday, Ifeoma said she loves herself so much. “Twenty sexy. Happy birthday, Ivy. I love you so much”. Paul started dating Ifeoma following his divorce from his ex-wife and mother of three of his kids, Anita Okoye.
The two went public with their love in early 2022, which left many enraged. The famous singer traditionally married Ifeoma in a low-key wedding in her hometown in Igbere, Abia State, with her family in May of 2024. In October, 2024, the couple welcomed their first child, a baby girl in the United States. Earlier this year, Ivy advised women against making marrying rich men their goal.
Using herself as an example, she noted that she had already built a successful life before meeting her husband and had been working and earning money. She had responded to a follower who told her to always wear her wedding ring. Ifeoma questioned if he would advise her husband to do the same, and slammed him for saying her band adds to her self-worth. A year ago, Ifeoma sent a message to trolls, saying their words no longer affect her.
She expressed disappointment in those trolls who attack celebrities and claim to be cruising with them and seeking their attention. She wished they could understand how embarrassing it is to drop hate comments for fun, recognition or money. She urged them to save themselves the embarrassment, noting how they looked stupīd. Since her relationship with Paul was made public, the influencer has received criticism from online users.
The mum of one spoke on the ills of being the girlfriend of a high-profile celebrity, admitting that she gets hurt by the comments she read online about herself, but tries to stay strong. She said the most painful of the comments is when she gets called a homewrecker. Addressing it, Ivy expressed that she had nothing to do with Paul and Anita’s marriage split at all and that a lot of people were addicted to misinformation.
She further stated that she got into a relationship with a man who was very single. Defending her, Paul Okoye noted how many internet users wish all divorces were toxic and were fond of looking for people to blame so they could be entertained.
