Tuchel's First England Squad Since The World Cup Dropped — Lots Of Changes

Full squad for the Nations League opener vs Spain (plus Czechia and Croatia to follow):

GK: Pickford, Steele, Trafford DEF: Alexander-Arnold, Branthwaite, Chalobah, Guehi, Hall, Konsa, Livramento, O'Reilly, Quansah MID: Anderson, Bellingham, Lewis-Skelly, Mainoo, Palmer, Rice, Scott ATT: Calvert-Lewin, Eze, Gordon, Kane, Ngumoha, Rashford, Rogers, Saka

Big theme here is players getting a second chance after missing out on the World Cup squad. Mainoo's back despite not playing a minute this summer. Palmer's back after being left out entirely. Alexander-Arnold's back too after barely featuring under Tuchel before now.

Also two genuinely new faces — Alex Scott (Bournemouth) gets his first call-up off a sensational Europa League assist, and Rio Ngumoha breaks in after debuting in the pre-World Cup warm-up vs New Zealand. Branthwaite's back fit as well, and Calvert-Lewin's rewarded for a fast start at Leeds.

Sky Sports basically framed this as Tuchel learning from how the World Cup squad worked out and making wholesale changes off the back of it. Feels less like a settled group and more like the start of him reshaping things for the Euro 2028 cycle. Curious what people make of the squad overall — any glaring omissions or picks that surprised you?
