TOPIC: SATANIC OPPOSITION
Text:"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." - Ephesians 6:12
Ann Bellingham applied for a visa to the United States for an evangelical conference on narcotic addiction among young people. Her appointment was scheduled and her documents were complete, yet her file mysteriously disappeared at the embassy. Officials declared it missing without explanation, and she could not make it to the event. Many have complained of similar inexplicable hindrances. For Ann, it was not mere administrative error; it was satanic opposition.
Satanic opposition is not new. When Daniel prayed in the Old Testament, his answer had been released from heaven on the first day, yet it was held hostage by a spiritual prince over Persia. For twenty-one days his answer lingered in the heavenly realm until angelic reinforcement broke through. Daniel's experience teaches us that delay is not always denial; sometimes it is warfare.
We must not underestimate how far the enemy will go to abort answers to prayer and frustrate divine assignments. Scripture is clear about his mission - to steal, to kill and to destroy. Frustrating your welfare, blocking your open doors, and truncating your kingdom impact is consistent with his nature. This is why God calls us to be aware of his devices, lest we become victims of his manipulations.
Satan exists, and he does not work alone. He operates through a well-structured network of demonic forces whose aim is to ensure that believers never actualize their mandate in Christ. Some Christians acknowledge Satan's existence but downplay the reality of this organized system. Such naivety is dangerous. A sober awareness of his covert operations is what positions the believer to live above his deceptions.
The enemy thrives where he is ignored. Victory begins when you discern his hand behind the opposition and engage in spiritual warfare through prayer, the Word, and unwavering faith.

Prayer: Father, thank You for exposing the devices and tricks of the enemy. Help me to live above satanic manipulation and opposition, in Jesus' name. Amen.
