How I Keep Track of Football Pools, Lotto Results and Football Predictions in Nigeria
One thing I have noticed with football pools and Nigerian lotto is that information can become confusing very quickly.
You may see a fixture on WhatsApp, another result on Facebook, then someone posts a different update in a group. By the time you are trying to confirm what is actually correct, you may have already checked several different places.
For me, the better approach is to separate the information into three areas:
- Football Pool Fixtures and Results
If you follow football pools, the first thing you need is the correct fixture list for the current pool week.
It is useful to know the teams involved, kickoff times, postponed matches, completed matches and the eventual pool results. Keeping the fixtures and results together also makes it easier to go back and compare previous weeks.
One site I have been checking for this type of information is:
https://poolsupdate.com
The site focuses mainly on football pool information, including fixtures and results. This can be useful for people who do not want to depend entirely on screenshots or WhatsApp messages when checking the weekly pool.
- Nigerian Lotto Results and Past Results
For lotto players, the situation is slightly different because there are different games and different draw sessions.
For example, someone following Baba Ijebu may want to check today's result, while another person may be interested in Golden Chance or Derby Lotto. Sometimes you may also want to go back and check previous results rather than only looking at today's draw.
I came across:
https://suredailychoice.com
It covers Nigerian lottery information such as Baba Ijebu, Golden Chance Lotto and Derby Lotto, including results, past results, draw schedules, predictions and explanatory guides.
I particularly think past results are important because they allow someone to keep their own records instead of relying on memory or old screenshots.
- Football Predictions and Tips
Football predictions are another area where people should be careful.
A prediction is not the same thing as a confirmed result. A tipster can make a prediction before a match, but the actual result only becomes known after the match has been played.
For people who regularly follow football tips and predictions, another platform worth checking is:
https://www.solutiontipster.com
It focuses on football tips, predictions and related football information.
Why I think using different sources makes sense
I don't think anyone should blindly follow a prediction simply because it is posted on a website, WhatsApp group or social media page.
For example:
Fixture → Check the actual fixture.
Prediction → Treat it as a prediction, not a guaranteed outcome.
Live match → Follow the actual match and score.
Final result → Confirm the completed result.
Pool result → Check the official or reliable published result before making any conclusion.
This simple distinction can prevent a lot of confusion.
Another useful habit is keeping track of previous results.
If you follow pools or lotto regularly, today's information is not always enough. Previous fixtures and results can help you understand how the information is presented and allow you to keep your own records.
But there is also an important point here: past results do not guarantee future results. Seeing a number or football outcome appear several times does not automatically mean that it is due to appear again.
The same thing applies to football predictions. A good-looking prediction is still only a prediction until the match is played.
For anyone following all three areas
I find it easier to bookmark the different resources according to what I am looking for:
Football pools: PoolsUpdate
Nigerian lotto results and lottery information: SureDailyChoice
Football tips and predictions: SolutionTipster
The main benefit is not that one website will magically give you every answer. It is simply having information organized according to what you are trying to check.
For anyone who follows football pools or Nigerian lotto regularly, what is your own method of keeping track of fixtures, results and predictions?
Do you use websites, WhatsApp groups, Telegram, social media, or do you keep your own records?
