Many travelers are excited about the East African Tourist Visa, and for good reason! It’s a fantastic, cost-effective multi-entry visa that gives you access to three incredible countries: Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda.
However, there are a few important details to keep in mind to ensure a smooth trip. First, despite what some may believe, Tanzania is not included in this visa. Second, you must enter the East African region through the specific country that issued your visa, as starting in a different country can lead to being turned back.
This visa is a wonderful step toward easier travel in Africa, and hopefully, we'll see similar regional visas across the continent in the future.
