Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has reacted to the alleged news of the death of therapist Blessing CEO’s son. Kemi Filani reported on Friday evening that Blessing had reportedly lost her second son while she is being remanded in Prison. Confirming the news, the CEO of Isaamira Love Foundation sought public donations on Blessing’s behalf. Speaking in a video call with actress Doris Ogala, Blessing’s CEO issued a disclaimer about the donation, saying she never authorised anyone to solicit funds on her behalf and that she should announce the news of her son’s passing.
Reacting to the news of her son’s death, Nkechi, in a since-deleted video, shared a video of herself, saying she is preparing for her Netflix documentary on how a certain relationship therapist who does not respect the dead is now asking to go pay her last respects. She told Blessing CEO that her suffering just started, noting how she can’t do evil to people and not expect the consequences.

You can’t do evil to people and not expect the consequences”. It isn’t surprising to see Nkechi mocking her namesake as the two have been at war. Months back, NBS, in a social media post, called out the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, for doing nothing about Blessing’s fraud against Nigerians.
Calling the therapist a petty thief, she made her know she was ready for her comeback, and rained curses on her generation. When Blessing CEO announced that she was allegedly battling breast cancer, Nkechi had been on her neck. She had questioned what people expected of someone who claimed another’s building as their own. She noted how, for years, people mistook her for the relationship therapist and made it seem like being named ‘Blessing’ is a curse.
While sharing a screenshot of the N1 million credit alert she received from her male friend to have dinner, she prayed against using one’s mouth to draw sickness into their bodies. Last year, Nkechi reignited her beef with Blessing, mocking her public displays of affection, noting that Blessing used to troll others in relationships and now does everything she mocked others for.
Responding to her, Blessing shared a loved-up video of her and her boo, questioning whether Nkechi expected her to drop love and return to the streets. She told Nkechi to learn from her on how to keep a man and make them marry her. Nkechi’s shade came as a surprise, as she had announced her reconciliation with Blessing CEO at Priscilla Ojo’s wedding. The former congratulated her namesake, hoping she could breathe after finally finding her partner.
Also speaking on their reconciliation, the former drama queen said she was making peace with all her enemies because she did not want to drag her auto dealer fiancé, IVD, into her past controversy. Recall that Nkechi and Blessing CEO fell out in a public spat, in 2023, after Nkechi left an unflattering comment on Blessing’s bikini photos, comparing her body to a placard. Replying to her, Blessing took a swipe at the actress over her love for dating younger men and changing them like underwear.
