Background:
In Ughelli a 15-year old girl named Precious was called by her friend and told to come to a hotel. The girl asked the friend who will pay for her transport, but the friend replied that it would be taken care of.
The girl went to the hotel but her friend wasn't there. Instead there were 4 boys there. The 4 boys demanded for sex, but the girl refused and said that she was on her period.
The boys beat the girl up and recorded humiliating videos of the girl, then two of them raped her.
The boys then posted the videos on the internet.
The police had previously arrested one of the boys and there has been a media war between people of Ughelli and the management of the hotel. People ask how the hotel could allow such young people to lodge there, while the hotel is threatening to sue anyone that mentions their name.
