Nollywood actor Ramsey Nouah has stirred reactions with his response to an interviewer who tried to bait him into rage. The light-skinned actor appeared in an online video as a guest on Isbae U’s Curiosity show. In a teaser for the soon-to-be-released interview, Isbae rage-baited the actor, noting how he went from interviewing an ex-president to an ex-celebrity. He also claimed the actor made it big in Nollywood because he is aesthetically pleasing.
“I believe he made it big in Nollywood because he is aesthetically pleasing. I can’t believe I went from interviewing an ex-president to an ex-celebrity. “ Following his statement, Ramsey stood up, removed the mic and walked out of the interview. The actor said he had stayed too long and was happy to have met Isbae U, whom he described as a useless, godforsaken child. “I have stayed my time here.
It was nice meeting a very useless, godforsaken child”. Weeks ago, Yoruba actor Odunlade Adekola had pulled an Omotola Ekeinde on a journalist for asking who he was. The comic actor attended a movie premiere where a journalist asked who he was, and Odunlade gave him the Omotola treatment by walking away. Similarly, while attending the dinner for Miss Nigeria, Omotola Ekeinde had a session with an interviewer who inquired about her name and identity.
Omotola, caught off guard by the question, told him to repeat himself, and the interviewer asked who she was, which left her pissed. In the clip, the legendary actress walked out visibly angry, leaving the interviewer begging, and she told him not to touch her. Defending her, Rita Dominic, a member of the Miss Nigeria board, released a statement apologising to the actress for the discomfort she experienced.
She urged the media to do better, noting how Omotola is an icon who has paved the way for many.
