The Danger Of Impatience
Lack of patience leads to making poor decisions and missed blessed. In spiritual terms, it is like taking a step out before one’s time. It can be compared to a farmer that prematurely uproots a seed just because it has not yet sprouted, hence ruining the potential for a great harvest.
Jah Michael x 21
Moses had been away for 40 days and nights, the people of Israel became impatient and wanted to move on without him who lead them through the Red Sea. Aaron that should had known better, helped them fashion their gold earrings to cast a golden calf.
He built an altar for the calf and the Israel went into a spiritual frenzy.
Exodus 32:6 So they got up early the next day and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; then the people sat down to eat and drink, and got up to play [shamefully—without moral restraint].
That was the beginning of their doom in the wilderness. They did not enter God’s rest, the promised land. As the Egyptian army and chariots perished in the Red Sea, so the impatient Israelites perished in the wilderness of Sinai.
Numbers 14:30 Not one of you will enter the land I swore with uplifted hand to make your home, except Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun.
Out of a million people that crossed the Red Sea, only 2 entered the promised land. The fear of God remains the beginning of wisdom. Impatience is not for the wise and true believer.
